You probably do what you can to avoid getting in accidents when driving, just out of habit.

It’s technically not an intersection, but one study of accidents from 2013-2015 showed a 1.49 mile stretch of Interstate Highway 69C (right around mile marker 170) in Edinburg was the deadliest stretch of highway anywhere in Texas that year.
Many people who live or work in The Rio Grande Valley may not be able to avoid these dangerous areas entirely. But knowing where to be even more careful than usual may help avoid accidents.
